Classical and Quantum Scattering in Impulsive Backgrounds

- Abstract
We present a simple but rigorous approach to solve the nonlinear distributional scattering problem of particles in impulsive fields. As an illustration we consider a Dirac particle in an impulsive Yang-Mills wave.
